European Brand Management Company to Represent Avangate’s eCommerce Solutions for Software and SaaS Companies in the GAS Region

Under the agreement, Globell B.V. is responsible for the distribution of Avangate's eCommerce solution in the GAS region: Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Avangate's eCommerce solution for software and SaaS already serves more than 2,300 customers worldwide and manages a software affiliate network of over 33,000 partners. In 2011, Avangate launched Enterprise Edition™, a multi-channel, multi-model suite that integrates advanced eCommerce, Affiliate and Channel Management modules to enable software vendors to grow both online and offline sales. In addition, Avangate Enterprise Edition provides the business and operational agility that software vendors require to transition from perpetual to pay-as-you-go models such as freemium, rental, or subscription; experiment with new channels, partners, and affiliates; and enter new markets.

Avangate's new strategic partnership will benefit from the leadership of Aston Fallen, CEO of Globell B.V., an expert in the global distribution of eCommerce solutions. Fallen, who was president of the U.S. subsidiary of asknet Inc in San Francisco and vice president of global sales for asknet AG in Karlsruhe before he joined Globell, has more than a decade of experience in eCommerce, including deep market development experience in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
