Software vendors can better compete in markets such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Korea, Taiwan and Hong-Kong

5 more languages added to Avangate systemAmstelveen, The Netherlands – July 22, 2010 - Avangate, full service provider of electronic software distribution and reseller management solutions for software vendors, announced the introduction of five additional languages in the shopping cart: Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Korean and Chinese Traditional, together with corresponding billing currencies.

When entering vendors' shopping-carts, buyers from these countries will read the information in their native language, see prices in their local currency and have the option to choose from a variety of payment methods, including local, popular ones, leading to an increase in sales conversion rates.

"Languages, currencies and payment methods impact shoppers' comfort levels. The higher the degree of localization, the more the comfort level goes up. With this enhancement on the localization front, Avangate further supports software vendors' market expansion plans and assists them to better compete on local markets", commented Laurențiu Ghenciu, VP of Sales and Marketing at Avangate.

The Avangate Ordering System is now available in 20 languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Romanian, Polish, Arabian, Danish and the recently introduced Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Korean and Chinese Traditional.
